Among ten thousands of diamonds only one diamond colour is yellow. Their rarity makes them unique, famous and worthy. Most of the yellow canary diamonds originated from south africa. It is known that they are being found only in South Africa but this theory has been rejected recently as they have been found in not only South Africa’s region but commonly all over the globe. The other important and noticeable thing about these yellow diamonds is that they are rare and are not found in mines as they have been suspected to be found in ground rather than can be found while mining in the mines. How do you get yellow diamonds

The noticeable thing here is how do diamonds change their colour to yellow. This is a physical phenomenon where a few diamonds change their colour after reacting to a chemical underground. While formation of stones a reaction occurs with nitrogen gas that results in the change of the colour. While stones are turning into diamonds, the amount of Nitrogen gas present at the moment results in changes. The intensity level of the yellow colour depends on the amount of the nitrogen gas that is present at the moment. The more amount of nitrogen results in the darker and more prominent yellowish diamond. The major difference between white and yellow diamonds is the presence of nitrogen gas. In yellow diamonds, there is a lot of nitrogen gas present while the formation of stones. In the white stones, there is little or no oxygen while the formation of stones. The amount of nitrogen creates the huge difference and a rare form of diamond is formed that is yellow in colour and this colour makes it worthy and rare. This is the most expensive form of diamond as it is rare and can be found in one in ten thousands diamonds that makes it more valuable.

The yellow diamond colour chart

The amount of nitrogen gas present at the moment of the reaction of stone decides the yellowish chart rate of the yellow diamond. If the diamond is more yellowish it is vivid yellow. The less vivid colour yellow is called deep yellow. Now we have intense, fancy and fancy light yellow colour charts of the diamonds depending on the nitrogen presence. The little amount of nitrogen results in light fancy yellow colour. The more than little is known as fancy yellowish as it is darker than the light fancy colour. Yellow diamonds are sometimes known as the yellow canary diamond but still in most cases not every yellow is a canary one. We cannot say that all of the canary yellow are yellow diamonds or all the diamonds that are yellow in colour are canary yellow. The intense yellow colour and the vivid yellow colour diamonds are set to be known as the canary yellow diamonds as they are perfect and suitable for the yellowish chart group that is known to be canary yellow diamond.
